6. Delphine Arnault and Alessandro Vallarino Gancia – $7 million

The lavish wedding between Delphine Arnault, daughter of LVMH billionaire Bernard Arnault, and Italian wine heir Alessandro Vallarino Gancia was called the 2005 wedding of the year in France. 

They married at the Cathedral Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Gironde, France, and the wedding reception was held at Chateau d’Yquem. Delphine’s dress was designed by John Galliano, and both the wedding and reception featured over 5,000 white roses in the decorations.
