Johnny Lewis’ death was accidental
Johnny Lewis was best known for playing Kip ‘Half-Sack’ Epps in the first two seasons of the TV series ‘Sons of Anarchy.’ He passed away on September 26, 2012, at only 29 years old.

He had a history of substance abuse and struggled with addiction. On September 26, he fell from a rooftop in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, Lewis’ death was accidental as he accidentally and tragically fell from the roof.
The incident also involved the death of an elderly woman, Catherine Davis, which he is suspect of having killed before accessing the rooftop, from where he accidentaly fell.
