Scores played by the musicians on the Titanic – Finding Dulcinea

If you have watched the 1997 movie adaptation of Titanic, you may remember the iconic and heartbreaking scene of the musicians playing while the ship is sinking, purely to try to lighten the situation and make people feel less desperate. That scene is actually based on real facts.

One of the sheet music pieces played by the musicians on the Titanic was also found and is considered one of the most precious artifacts to commemorate the memories of this tragedy.

Although there is no way to know for sure what the last song played by these brave musicians was, among their repertoire, ‘Put Your Arms Around Me, Honey’ warmed up the cold nights onboard the Titanic.
