The choker is part of a parure, featuring a matching necklace, earrings, and other accessories, all adorned with emeralds and diamonds. As part of the British royal jewelry collection, it has been worn by Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Diana, and Princess Kate Middleton. 

It even made headlines when Princess Diana wore it as a headpiece instead of a choker, surprising the royal family at the time.
