Frozen is one of the most famous movies recently released by Disney. Throughout the year, it remained a hot topic since its release. However, the story it tells is not so recent.

Although the movie introduces numerous original alterations to the narrative, its inspiration can be traced back to Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale ‘The Snow Queen,’ first published in 1844.
While ‘Frozen’ incorporates some themes and motifs from Andersen’s story, such as the wintry setting and the idea of sisterly love, the film introduces entirely new characters, a different plot structure, and a unique interpretation of the source material.
