The great diversity of dog breeds can be explained by history and different world cultures.
Dogs descend from wolves, which were domesticated between 20,000 and 40,000 years ago. They were the first animals to be domesticated, and this domestication is responsible for the variety of breeds that exist today.
However, over time, humans intentionally chose which types of dogs and which characteristics in these animals they valued most, engaging in selective breeding and creating what we now understand as pure dog breeds.
Different breeds were developed for various roles, including hunting, herding, guarding, companionship, and more.
Therefore, the price of a purebred dog depends on its breed, its state of health, its age, and the characteristic behavior of its breed.
