8. Make a mixture of lemon juice and water to clean the garbage can

When life gives you lemons… Use them to clean your garbage can!

Mix equal parts of lemon juice and water in a spray bottle or a bucket. Then, apply the mixture generously inside the garbage can and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes. Scrub the interior of the garbage can and rinse it with water.

For stubborn odors and stains, you can add baking soda to the mixture.
