16. Remove wine stains from clothes with salt
Salt is highly absorbent, making it great for removing stains. For wine stains, in particular, salt is very effective.

Whether you’ve stained your clothes or carpet, gently blot the stain, and then sprinkle coarse salt to absorb any remaining wine.
An additional tip is to pour white wine on red wine stains to neutralize the color. Rinse it with water, pre-wash the stain with liquid laundry detergent, and then wash it.
