08. The cat comes first
We did not know we could be so selfless until a cat sat on our lap for the first time. The rule is, if the cat is comfortable, our own comfort is irrelevant.

Some of the more sociable cats want to hang out with us all the time. If you sit down anywhere, they will come from wherever they are just to sit on your lap and purr. It’s one of the most wholesome moments in life.
And if you work or study from home, then your cat has probably attended more meetings than you. They just won’t leave your lap, and you will enjoy every second of it.
