15. Charger
If you’ve been waiting for your phone’s battery to completely run out before charging it, you might unintentionally be shortening its lifespan.
Many smartphone manufacturers offer guidelines and recommendations for optimizing battery life and recommend charging your phone when its battery level is between 20% and 80%. This is because regularly charging when the battery is nearly depleted (below 20%) or reaching full charge (100%) can place strain on the battery, potentially reducing its overall capacity over time.
Since charging generates heat, cases of excessive heating can accelerate battery degradation. However, it’s important to note that modern smartphones are designed to handle regular charging and discharging, and they often have built-in battery management systems to help protect the battery from damage.
