8. Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar – $2.5 million

Another $2.5 million wedding took place when British model and actress Elizabeth Hurley and Indian businessman Arun Nayar got married not once, but twice. 

First, they had a wedding at Sudeley Castle in England. Then, they had a traditional Hindu ceremony in the city of Jodhpur, India. This time, they flew in Elton John to perform, and the celebrations lasted for up to a week.

Their wedding in India also included traditional Rajasthani singers, feasts featuring local Indian cuisine, and a shower of rose petals.
