Brittany Murphy died of an apparently treatable condition
Brittany Murphy was a rising star when she tragically passed away. She delivered exquisite performances, notably as Tai Fraiser in the movie ‘Clueless,’ and for her roles in ‘Uptown Girls’ and ‘Girl Interrupted.’ The actress had a bright career ahead of her.
On December 20, 2009, at the age of 32, Brittany passed away in what was considered an accidental death. Despite speculation surrounding her death, including media reports and her father expressing concerns about the possibility of toxic mold in her home, her death resulted from a treatable condition: pneumonia.
In Brittany’s case, however, the autopsy released by The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office stated that, although pneumonia was the primary factor, she suffered from iron deficiency and had prescription and over-the-counter medications in her system. These factors weakened her immune system, making it too weak to fight the infection.
However, the passing of her husband, Simon Monjack, five months later under the exact same circumstances as Brittany’s still raises suspicions all around. A recent documentary titled ‘What Happened, Brittany Murphy?’ has been released and proposes to investigate further into the life and death of the actress.
