A versatile actor who has made appearances in film, television, and theater, Eddie Redmayne gained widespread recognition for his role in the film “Les Misérables” (2012), where he played Marius Pontmercy. 

His performance earned him several award nominations. In 2015, Redmayne won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in “The Theory of Everything.” 

Redmayne is known for his role as Newt Scamander in the “Fantastic Beasts” film series, a prequel to the “Harry Potter” series.
