11. Whiten teeth with baking soda
Baking soda is another one of those common and very versatile ingredients.
Baking soda is alkaline in nature, and it can help balance the pH levels in the mouth, helping prevent the growth of bacteria that contribute to tooth decay and bad breath.
Rinsing your teeth with baking soda also helps remove surface stains, tartar, and plaque.
It’s important to remember that using baking soda for your oral health does not substitute traditional brushing and flossing. It’s an additional method to help improve other hygiene habits.
You just have to mix it with water to create a paste and then apply it to your toothbrush. Brush your teeth for about 2 minutes and rinse with water.
Repeat only once or twice a week to avoid other dental issues.
